How Tough is It?

Not the Steak or the Roast. I am talking about Writin'
Stuff for you Folks. One of my favorite things besides fishin' is passing
along good information in our Ezines and Writin' for other ones.
Why did I say Fishin' and Writin'? Well, sometimes it
is as hard to come up with great content as it is to catch 12 pound
Bass. When I first started Writin' professionally it was about Fishin'.
Oh, I almost forgot, There is no such word as Fishing or Writing. It
is really Fishin' and Writin'. Fishin' and Writin' are among most enjoyable
pass times. If it were Fishing, or Writing it would be like Working,
Shopping or those other "ing" words that aren't much fun.
That's nice, Mike but what is the point? I'm glad you
asked. Now I get to tell you. Whether you are Writin' an article, E-Book
or Novel, you have to have fun doing it. Yup, you can start Writin'
just like me (well not "just" like me. That would violate Copyright
laws) and create your own information products. It's not as hard as
you might think (or is it?). Sometimes it is hard to start an article
and find an idea to write about. This is an example. I just couldn't
get the juices flowing this week. But, bingo. The idea for explaining
Writin' came to me.
The most important thing to remember is that you have
to like your subject and Know what it is about. If you know anything
about anything and can fog a mirror (that is how a coroner determines
if you are breathing), hit the keys on the keyboard, and get your ideas
together, you can be a writer.
You don't need a degree in journalism or language. What
you do need are ideas, the ability to put them on paper (electronic
or other) and put your personality with your Writin'. Now it is something
you can enjoy. That is the Key, to enjoy your Writin'. When it is Writing,
it is a chore. Now really, if you didn't enjoy my articles and E-Books,
you wouldn't be reading this, right?
One thing I do encourage is to borrow ideas from other
people. Don't steal them, that is plagiarism, but take ideas from them.
What the Internet needs is good Writin' that folks will enjoy and benefit
from. I don't have a lot of time for reading and if you don't make it
interesting, enjoyable and fun, I won't bother putting my time into
reading it. Wonderful thing, the delete key. I don't even have to go
out in the snow (dirty 4 letter word) to get rid of all the junk paper.
When I wrote "E-Books the Easy Guide" one of the key
things I did was to make sure folks would enjoy the time they put into
reading it. I follow the same rule with all of my Writin'. Maybe this
is why so many of my article submissions get accepted by other Ezines.
OK, I needed to give myself a little pat on the back :-)
You probably wear a lot of hats just like me. Running
your E-Business, marketing, advertising, building websites or what ever
your business is. Gail and I run 4 sites, 3 Ezines and have do much
of that for others. Still in all, the best communication we have with
folks like you is our Writin'. We write, you read, we make a friend
and a new client. It just can't get any better than that. WE know because
of all the replies we get from you folks telling us how we are doing.
So with all of this in mind, download my E-Books, read
my articles, borrow my ideas, have fun Writin' and most of all, when
you can, go Fishin'. Here is a little gift for you. I have a fun little
E-Book called "Funny Fishin' Stuff". I guarantee you will get some laughs
from it and maybe even some great ideas of your own. best of all, it
is Free. You can download it here: http://www.coyote-art.com/book/fishinfun.exe
